Offering consultations and lessons for those interested.  There are so many ideas and experiences that I believe can be helpful whether you’re just starting off or are in the business already.  While I think I will be especially useful to lower voices, I’m open to all voice types.

Currently all voice lessons & consultations will be taught ONLINE

I teach via Zoom, Skype, Facetime, and Facebook Messenger.

Testimonial:

"I have known Adam Lau since he was 21, when San Francisco Opera was producing “The Little Prince”. We needed a lower male voice for one of the smaller roles, and Adam auditioned in studio 509.   I realized then and there that this was someone who possessed of a beautiful instrument. Being a bass is always complicated, because the bass voice doesn’t come to maturity until the late 20’s or early 30’s, so I knew there would be a long road ahead for him, but I watched Adam navigate the music scene as intelligently as anyone.  He earned his Masters degree at Rice University, under the tutelage of Stephen King, and he has always continued his technical work with me since his return to San Francisco. I have watched Adam come to a great understanding of his own vocalism, and he surely could apply his  knowledge to other people’s issues as well.

In addition to his own excellent vocal technique and innate musicality and dramatic flair, Adam is very intelligent, so I feel confident that he will work faithfully to help someone come to a better understanding of their own instrument.  I recommend him to you wholeheartedly."
